Christmas around the WORLD!

Today my family and I went to the Frederick Meijer Gardens
Museum for a Christmas Around The World display.
It was filled with tons of different trees that each represented a different
country and depicted how they celebrated Christmas!

After we saw all the trees there were two separate rooms with
different little model homes and churches and buildings
surrounded by flowers and plants.
I was incredibly intrigued by the plants-look how beautiful!
What do you think?

Yellow.

First...
I really hate being ditched.
Really.

Second...
on a scale of 1-10 how much do you LOVE this coat?
Love love love!

I hope everyone's Christmas was wonderful
and New Years is just as great!
Miss Utah and all my wonderful friends there!
Hope you're all doing well!
Love you all!

Lauren Rose Carlisle

YAY for my best friend!

Haul out the holly.

I'm home!
And what a joyous reunion it was.
Today we trimmed our tree
(the family waited for me to get home-how nice of them!)
So my brother and his wife are starting a collection of
snow globes
so his boss got him this giant one
with "God bless Joe and Jennie" engraved in it
How awesome is that?

It's so good to be home.
Miss Logan and all my friends there, though.

Merry Christmas!

Missed Connections.

While I was on Craig's List today I came across
a section called Missed Connections.
People post encounters they had with people
that they would like to be re-connected with.
Whether it was eye contact at the grocery store, a conversation
in a ski lift or seeing each other at the gym.
Crazy, huh?
I can't decide if I think this is
creepy
or
cute.
What do you think?
I'll post the link so you can check it out.

Also this.
After my Integrated Life Science exam tomorrow
I will be DONEZO with school for Christmas break!!
I cannot WAIT to come home in four short days to these wonderful people:
My fabulous mother (left) and her best friend, Lori.
 My cooky father.
My sisters from another mister and Michaela, my real sister in the red.
My amazing brother and sister in law.
My crazy best friend, Lo.
My gorgeous best friend, Emily.

I know I've said it a million times but
I can't wait to go home!!
I will, however, miss my friends here in Logan.
But it's only for three weeks :)

These two lovely ladies however, will be leaving for
their new adventure in New York in January
so I'd like to say a little something:
Thank you
 Madi Paige Waters and
Shannon June Ballard
for being such wonderful friends!!
I love you girls so much!
You will be incredibly missed by me, along with
a ton of other people whose lives you have
had a great impact on.
I hope New York is absolutely amazing.
I can't wait to come visit you!
Also, I can't wait to hear about your wonderful adventures
you two are going to have.
Thank you for being a great example to me :)
LOVE YOU!

Oh, and also this.
I am officially addicted to Gossip Girl.
That is all.
xoxo, Gouldie Girl
bahahaha wow.

I apologize for all of you who read my last post

Some words were said that were not very nice

I hope all who were offended can forgive me.
love you all.

What a weekend!

Holy Moses!
What a freaking great weekend!
I worked a double on Friday then just chilled with the roomies.
Saturday I woke up at noon.
Then we had a nice roomie date:
got our nails done.
went shopping.
Then we came home, made TWO cakes.
Got ready for Makenzie's party.
Then had the best dance party ever!
SO many people showed up!
It was soo fun!
(Thanks to the girls who let us use their house-you're GREAT!!)
Then Sunday went to church.
Came home.
Went to Salt Lake with my favorite people ever
to watch the Christmas Devotional and see the lights
at Temple Square.
So fabulous.
This gospel is seriously amazing.
When the prophet spoke, the Spirit was
overwhelming.
I have never been to the Conference Center so it was so great
to be there!
I am also incredibly thankful that I have
such great friends.
I am so blessed.
I couldn't ask for better friends.
We're all so cute :)
Can't believe the weekend is all done.
But also can't believe it's time for
FINALS.
This next week is going to be crazy-busy.
Can't wait to go HOME!!
Well, time for bed.
Love you all.
Happy Sunday :)

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Okay, okay.

Okay so I was a little dramatic in my last post haha
I was having an off day.
To be completely honest, life is really great!
I had a great time at work tonight.
Kinda weird, right?
I had a lot of visitors :)
Plus I got to work with Teddi which always makes me super happy.
AND I made $8 in tips!
WOO!

I have a fun-filled Saturday ahead of me tomorrow.
Getting Makenzie's birthday cake with Hil.
Lunch with Brad Singer.
Playing with Cass.
Then DANCE PARTY for THIS little lady's birthday!!

I think we'll have a pretty good turn out and it
should be super fun!
Can't wait!

This week has honestly been the busiest I've been almost all year.
I was in the library every day!
And I'm only going to get busier haha
I work a lot next week plus studying for finals
plus group presentation on Wednesday for English.
PHEW!
But seriously, bring it on.
I'm ready.

I'm excited to go to lunch with Brad tomorrow.
Kindof out of the blue, but I think very highly of Bradley.
So we'll see how it goes :)
He was one of my many visitors tonight at Twizl Berry
and we had a great conversation-he's such a sweetheart.
Alright, time for bed.
I'm exhausted.
G'night!

oh, p.s, the roomies finally had an outing to Wally World
with the four of us together
this past week, here are the results:

Bahaha I love my room mates.

My room mate Tammy just showed us h

twenty, twenty one, twenty two.

Well, once again, I'm late.
It's tough keeping up with this 30-day blog business.
What a week.
A lot of things have happened haha
Both good and bad.
Almost ready for school to be back again.
I am, however, enjoying this snow.
I used to despise snow but for some reason I am really
loving it!

Day twenty
(posts 19 and 20 should be switched but I read it wrong so oh well!)
Someone you miss.
Lauren Rose Carlisle.
She is my very best friend and I miss her dearly.
I miss our Clueless dates, our Sonic runs, our dress
up freak outs, and our mysterious road searching.
I come home in TWENTY THREE DAYS!!
Can't wait :)

Day twenty-one
A picture of something that makes you happy.

GO AGGIES!!!

Day twenty-two
A picture that confuses you.
Boo.
This, I do not understand.
At all.
And I never will.

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was wonderful!
Mine was great, lots of food and family!
Plus Makenzie :)
SO.
I need to be working on my paper...
but I just really don't want to.
Bah.
I have tomorrow.
Tomorrow sounds delightful.

Thursday, November 25, 2010

Well, everyone told me so on that one.

So some people just never change.
No matter how much you wish or think they are going to
they never do.
Whatever.
I don't need you.

Day number nineteen.
A place you want to travel someday:
GREECE!
Oh man I want to go there so badly.
Definitely a goal in life.

Also, the Aggies won tonight against the Utes 79-62-WOO!
Way to go Aggies!!

Tomorrow is Turkey Day and I'm way pumped to see all my
Aunts and Uncles and cousins but i was I was going home.
I miss my family!
But I'm excited that Makenzie is coming with me!
I'm thankful for so many things but mainly
family, great friends, food, shelter and the gospel.
I don't know where I would be with all of these things.
I hope everyone's Thanksgiving is great!
kloveyoubye :)

Oh, I forgot.

I forgot number eighteen!
Cast of my favorite TV show(s).
Gleeeeee!
Modern Family
That 70's Show

BLIZZARD!!!

So rumor has it there's a storm a'brewing!!
I love the fact that USU closed at 2 this afternoon.
It seriously made my life.
Why, you may ask?
No 3:00 class :)
Yesssssss.
Makenzie and I are completely prepared with a little
Casper
Jurassic Park and
Elf.
Along with goodies, frozen yogurt pie from work, pasta
and blankets :)
Yay for snow days!

So I'll be here in little ol' Cache Valley for Thanskgiving
ringing in the holiday with my Grandparent's and extended family.
Wish I could go home, though.
Oh well, only a day less than a month haha

Oh, and can I just say that I have been to Chick-Fil-A THREE TIMES
within the past week?
It was a baaaad idea for that to open five minutes down the road lol
But I don't even care, i LOVE Chick-Fil-A!
YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
ALSO
I had my first night of sledding down Old Main this year.
SO fun.
I seriously love Utah State so much.

So I've been starting to watch Gossip Girl again.
I'm starting up season 2.
I forgot how much I enjoyed this show.

Catch Up.

Happy Sunday everyone! :)
Can I just say I love the fact that it's snowing?
So I'm doing a little catch up with my "30 days of blogging" stuff.

Day twelve:
Something I love...
Wow, I sure do love a lot of things.
But one of my very favorite things that I love are
new shoes.
I love new shoes.
I love the smell.
I love the feeling.
I love the compliments you get.
I love the excitement of wearing them with the perfect outfit.
Love Love Love!

Day thirteen:
Something I hate...
I hate when it snows then the snow turns all
brown and mushy
instead of
white and fluffy.
Grossssssss.

Day fourteen:
People I can't see my life without...
My daddy.
My mommy.
My little sister and big brother.

Friends.
Wow I love life!

Day fifteen:
Something I want to do before I die...
Visit Greece.
How absolutely AMAZING is this?!
Oh,I want it so badly.

Also I want to ride in a hot air balloon.
So fun!

Day sixteen:
Someone you would want to switch lives with
for one day and why.
Fergie.
I think if I traded lives with this person, I would want
it to be for more than just one day.
Why?
THAT'S why.

I think Fergie is kinda weird looking
but I would trade lives with her for a day JUST
to get a piece of THAT.
Seriously.
YUM.

All caught up! Yay!
We're all out of toilet paper at our apartment.
And it's not good.
And it's Sunday which means no Wally World visits.
Soo, until Monday, we will be using paper towels or the neighbor's TP.
Woot woot.
