Have you ever had one of those days where you
just absolutely love your outfit and you feel
like you could conquer the world?
It sounds silly but I'm sure you've all experienced it.
Not cocky though.
Confident.

"What a strange power there is in clothing."
~Isaac Bashevis Singer

Today was one of those days.
Not to toot my own horn or anything.
But thanks, friends.
You're great.

Not to mention the fact that the sun was shining
and it was warm today!
Hello, spring!
(Knock on wood)
Along with date night for Tay and I,
which is always my favorite.
Borders.
Bobo.
Making dinner together.
Late night talks.
This day was absolutely perfect.

Slacker.

I have truly been slacking on my blogging lately.
And for all you hard core Gould fans out there
I apologize.

I can't believe it's almost April already!
Where did March go?

Next weekend is General Conference which I am
absolutely stoked for.
I'll be heading up to Tay's house in Bountiful for 2 days
of stuffing our faces and also being spiritually fed by
this amazing Gospel and the inspired people that help it move forward.

This weekend was wonderful.
Friday I worked all night and made bank.
Then Saturday me and my roomies and Madi drove down
to Spanish Fork for Harikrishna.
It was straight up craziness.
Hilly has a ton more pictures but they're not on fb yet so this is all you get for now!
The chalk dyed both my hair pink and my left contact yellow.
Let's just say that it looked like I had a disease in my eye.
The pink is still in my hurrrrr.
Everyone's been saying I should just dye it like that cuz it looks
like I'm a total hard A.

Anywho. Saturday night was spent hanging out with
ALL of Tay's family for his Uncle's birthday
then playing Scatter Ball with all
the Bountiful-ites; SO FUN!
Sunday was spent with Tay's family and was superb, love them!

I love weekends.
They're the best.

In the mean time, this snow better stop.
It's almost April for heaven sakes!

sNOw.

Dear Logan, Utah,
Please stop snowing.
I'm tired of winter.
I just want spring and sun and warm weather
so I can wear cute dresses and capris and shorts
and no COAT!
This is me begging you to stop snowing.
Just give me sunshine!

Yours truly,
Ashley Gould

Tomorrow.

Tomorrow.
Is going to be a glorious day.
TAY COMES HOME!!
Boy have I missed my man.

My spring break was great!
I went down to St George and climbed with Tay's little brother
and some of his climbing buddies.
Learned a lot of new tricks and techniques!
I am now officially a fan of rock climbing.
We stayed in this dope condo Sunday-Tuesday
then a dorm at Dixie through Thursday.
The weather turned out absolutely perfect and I even got a nice tan :)
Night climbing with some new friends.
Oh, and we went to Vegas for a night!
Woooo spring break! haha

Uh oh.

Uh oh is right.
I've found yet another way to waste my time on the internet.
This is what's been distracting me from my usual face-stalking.
I stumbled upon this site by accident but lucky me!
Absolutely LOVE these!
Adorable, right?
I'm hooked.
A bit pricey but might just get them anyway...
Or this dress.
What do you guys think?

Birthday for JB.

Yesterday was Justin Bieber's 17th birthday.
So, being hard core fans, my room mates and I had a birthday party for him.
love love love love love love love love love love love love love love love
We love our little Justin Bieber.
Believe it or not a lot more people showed up than we expected!
It was also Ke$ha's birthday yesterday so we semi-celebrated for her too.

On another note:
I'm soo ready for spring break.

Borders going out of business...

Yep.
That's right folks.
Borders in Logan is going out of business.
So today Tay and I went there.
But to buy things?
Nope.
To go and take pictures.
It's not like they can kick us out...
they're closing down for heaven's sake.
How adorable is he? :)

"this is the beginning of a good thing....."
I like everything about this boy.

Dirt and glitter cover the floor.

1 word: KE$HA.
1 more word: AMAZING.
She was superb.
Seriously the most fun I've ever had at a concert.
It was ridiculously out of control.
I couldn't have asked for better people
to go with or a better person to see.
I was told four times that I looked like Ke$ha!
(which I take as a compliment because she's beautiful)
Take a gander at our sweet costumes:
KE$HA!
After the concert we went back to Tay's car
and blasted some more Ke$ha.
It got a little "sleazy" as you can see...
Madi and I may or may not be seeing her again in Reno :)

Today is a day to appreciate those around you.
So to all my friends:
Love you!
You're all my valentines :)

I will be enjoying my Valentine's night
at good ol' Twizl Berry with Teddi.
Yes, we planned matching outfits, in case you were wondering.
Pink shirts.
Black boots.
Curled hair.
CUTE, right?
We have to look good for all the couples coming
in to get frozen yogurt.
(bahaha yeah, right. barf.)

That's all I've got.

(Insert Title Here)

I absolutely adore this boy.
Justin Drew Bieber.
I saw Never Say Never today and my love for him grew
738973257 times over!
I had a bit of a closet love for JB because of our
large age difference (four years) but after
watching that, I don't even care who knows my love for him!
Not like an intense "i-wanna-make-out-with-you-love
more of a "give him a glass of milk and tuck him in" kind of love.
He is just completely adorable!
And humble.
And funny.
And all around fetchin' great!

Okay, enough of my obsessing.
Excited for Mardi Gras this weekend.
Last year was epic.
Let's hope this year holds to that or is even better.

Oh, and p.s.
KE$HA COUNT DOWN: Six Days!!

worry, worry, worry.

"Worrying is like a rocking chair-it gives you something to do
but it never gets you anywhere."
I've decided I worry too much.
Oh, and no, this isn't a new revelation.
I've known it for a while I've just never wanted
to admit it.
Why worry?
It doesn't get me anywhere.
Test and paper due on Thursday.
Gross.
Lately I have had absolutely no motivation to do
anything school related.
That's not good.
Especially this semester.
I need to get my act together!
And Fast!

Love.

Absolutely love this song.
Thank you Makenzie Collard.

I wish I had something profound to say.
I feel like it's been a while.
But all I really have is I'm thankful
for my friends and the positive influences in my life.
I was thinking about how different I am
now than I was before I came to Utah recently.
A lot of the reason I am the way I am
is because of those people who have made an impact on me.
You know who you are.
So for that, thank you.
I hope I have just as much influence on you as you do on me.
I love you all!

Oh, and one more.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

Holy bonfire!

My room mates and I's weekend happenings:
Over three hundred Christmas trees.
One hundred wood pallets.
Thirty plus cars squished with people.
Way too much fun!
Our good friends Alex, Luke and Sean had their
annual ginormous bonfire this past weekend
and we made the trip down to SLC to attend!
Yayyy for friends!

Also, please enjoy my new guilty pleasure.

Author Unknown.

So I was sitting at work yesterday afternoon
cruising around Facebook on my phone
like I usually do while work is slow
and I came across a post from my mother:

"If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies."

Now when I first read this quote, I thought of boys.
(of course)
But after I re-read it, I realized it applied to everything in life!
New job, new school, new friends, new experiences.
Everything in life changes.
I used to hate change, but I'm learning to start embracing it.
Change can certainly be good!

Speaking of change, I'm so ready for a change in seasons!
Hurry, summer!

Ghetto.

This weekend's happenings:
Friday night there was a Stoplight Dance Party.
We met these hilarious boys
who ended up crashing at our house because their
host girls fell asleep by the time they were done
playing scrabble, having a dance party and playing dress
up with us at our apartment (which was about 4 am bahaha).
(L--R) Luke, Alex and Sean.
They're from the U and were great to hang out with!
A little blurry but I was attempting to Wheelbarrow.

Doom's gangsta party.
We didn't get too ghetto..but it was still fun!
Oh, and Hil's demon face.
Love my little Beaner.
