Holy bonfire!

My room mates and I's weekend happenings:
Over three hundred Christmas trees.
One hundred wood pallets.
Thirty plus cars squished with people.
Way too much fun!
Our good friends Alex, Luke and Sean had their
annual ginormous bonfire this past weekend
and we made the trip down to SLC to attend!
Yayyy for friends!

Also, please enjoy my new guilty pleasure.

Author Unknown.

So I was sitting at work yesterday afternoon
cruising around Facebook on my phone
like I usually do while work is slow
and I came across a post from my mother:

"If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies."

Now when I first read this quote, I thought of boys.
(of course)
But after I re-read it, I realized it applied to everything in life!
New job, new school, new friends, new experiences.
Everything in life changes.
I used to hate change, but I'm learning to start embracing it.
Change can certainly be good!

Speaking of change, I'm so ready for a change in seasons!
Hurry, summer!

Ghetto.

This weekend's happenings:
Friday night there was a Stoplight Dance Party.
We met these hilarious boys
who ended up crashing at our house because their
host girls fell asleep by the time they were done
playing scrabble, having a dance party and playing dress
up with us at our apartment (which was about 4 am bahaha).
(L--R) Luke, Alex and Sean.
They're from the U and were great to hang out with!
A little blurry but I was attempting to Wheelbarrow.

Doom's gangsta party.
We didn't get too ghetto..but it was still fun!
Oh, and Hil's demon face.
Love my little Beaner.

"Hear Ye This."

I want to take a moment and let you all know something...
I am so thankful for my friends.
All of them.
I realized tonight that I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
I am so incredibly blessed to have them in my life.
To Madi and Shannon:
Good luck on your adventures ladies.
I will miss you SO, so much.
I can't wait to hear all the incredible things you'll be doing.
You girls are so individually strong in so many ways and I know
New York will be a luck state to have you two there.
I really hope to visit you soon but if not,
there's always Skype :)
Thank you so much for your positive influence on me
and those around you.
I LOVE YOU GIRLS!!
"Coo Coo Cachoo!"

"Thug Thursdays."

Back to schooool.

Well, after a wonderful 2 and a half weeks in Michigan
I touched ground in SLC on Saturday afternoon, soon
traveling up to Logan to be embraced by many missed friends!
Oh how I have missed them!

And now, it's back to the grind.
I'm thinking this semester shouldn't be
awful, but not exactly a breeze.
I'm super pumped for my yoga class.
I love yoga.
Along with my JCOM class because
 I have it with Babbitt!!
Woo wooo!

Bachelor.

Okay, so not many of you know
but I am absolutely
OBSESSED
with the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad.
Call me pathetic, but I love it.
This season is hunky Mr. Brad Womack.
If any of you remember, he was actually on
The Bachelor previously when he didn't choose
Jenni OR DeAnna at the end of the season
which consequently made him one of the most
hated men across America.
However, I am rooting for the poor guy.
As we found out last night, he has taken
three
long years of therapy and I really
think he's capable of loving someone now.
Here are the girls I'm rooting for this season
(based on last night, which of course can definitely change in an instant
as we saw last season with Vienna)
Okay, first pick:
Ashley S.
(and no, not because we share the same name ha)
She's a way down to Earth girl who is really sweet
and genuine (she also got the first impression rose
which means she'll probably be around for a while!).

Second:
Emily
Her husband died if I remember right.
Right after he died she found out she was
pregnant with their child.
She seems very strong willed and also very sweet!

Third:
Lisa M.
I just like her!
No particular reason, she just seems cool haha
But we shall seeeeeeeee what happens!!
Any other Bachelor lovers out there?
Who do you like the best?

OH and also...
What's up with THIS girl?!
VAMPIRE TEETH?!?!?!
That's like a 75983475984 out of 10 on the weird scale.
I've got a strange feeling about this one...
Can't wait to see what unfolds this season lol

Thankful.

I had an experience today at church that made me realize
how much this gospel directs my life.
I am incredibly thankful for it and all the positive
influences I have to help keep me going the right direction.
What a wonderful Sunday!
ALSO
In just six short days (practically five) I will be back in Logan Town!

New Yearrr!

2011!
Wow!
2010 just flew right on by!
Some pretty great things happened in 2010.
My brother got married!
I was able to go to D.C., Tennessee and Kentucky!
I moved into my first apartment!
I met some absolutely wonderful people who have quickly become
some of my closest friends!
I heard the Prophet speak in the conference center!
Along with lots of other personal little accomplishments.
I am welcoming the new year with open arms.
I'm ready for a challenge.
I'm ready for a relationship, if the right person comes along.
And I'm ready to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life.
AKA: settle on a major haha

Goals for 2011:
-Make scripture reading a priority everyday.
-Go to every class everyday.
-Study when I need to study.
-Meet at least 1 new person each week.

Oh, and for all you Loganites out there, I will be returning Saturday
so get ready to plaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!
